Be Your Sunshine

Sometimes I find myself too crazed out. I get psyched at almost every small thing (don't even talk about the big ones ). Sometimes I feel I give too much and expect the same in return from people and then I feel that's not asking for lot, is it ?
In reality nobody asks me to give and even if they do it's my choice, so why expect anything at all in return ? It's not that I do stuff for them keeping in mind something in return. I don't honestly. In the end it does hurt though and makes things complicated, creates misunderstanding and not a very healthy relationship (So not good ).
I have a simple policy where material things are concerned I don't like to take anything from anyone neither give. I sometimes wonder should it be same in the aspect of feelings and the amount of efforts you invest in people. Cause I have realized one thing in so many years you never get the equal of what you give and it's pointless expecting.
But then again if I become like others what's the difference. However, life will certainly be that much easier and simpler. No expectations and expectations certainly and predominantly are the root cause of complications. So in order to uncomplicate things and be happier and not brood or sulk with people for not putting in the same efforts, I have decided to invest double the efforts in myself and be happier rather than wait for others to make me happy.
Be the cause for your happiness. Be your own sunshine and the world will certainly glitter like Gold.
I am going to give this a try. It's going to be a lot of effort but I am certainly trying this.

Small Doses of Eternity

Hi Guys... here I am. This again is a last minute post ( all for being organized ) but then this is how I am, living spontaneously. I don't like to force myself to do things I don't want to with my whole heart. Half hearted things are just mundane, don't you think, they miss the heart of it all...
As of now I am just day dreaming (nothing New now) of a vacation. It's been a while since I went on a soul satisfying, full fledged vacation ( my definition of vacation is quite different) but then again vacation needs to make you happy .. So you can only term the trip that really makes you happy as a vacation. There is more criteria to it but for now just let's leave it at that, shall we.
I really need a holiday, a long break to just be, without worrying about anything at all.
To forget everything and discover new, to get lost in nature, to learn about new cultures, meet people I don't know at all, enjoy new cuisines, give time to myself, relax and rejuvenate my body and brain, to make new memories.
However as of now there is no vacation on cards but lots of work and that unsettles me cause my heart just wants to wander...
The heart wants what it wants ... the brain does its job constantly of telling it about the importance of work and finishing and starting what needs to be done. Life can't be one big vacation ( how I wish it was but then the charm would have been lost or would it? Cause there is so much to see and learn ... anyhow)
What needs to be done has to be done... the problem is the constant struggle of balance between the heart and the mind ... Where no ones a winner and the balance is lost from time to time ...
I guess the magic is not constant balance but striving for it ... Life happens in these slips ...
On that note ... a memory from a recent day trip ... how I love to get lost in nature ... Let my self just be and enjoy the spell cast on me ...

I am a Country Girl

Hello, 

Let's start from here, should we?

This song is my favorite. I heart it, with all my heart, gets a smile instantly to my face and I am all happy and gay. Lusting for some country life. 

Beautiful winding roads with big trees laden with fruits which keep spreading on the horizon, till your eyes can take it all. Clear blue sky stretching above you and green carpets of grass to sleep on with cool breeze singing a lullaby.  

Gurgling streams to drink in and clear azure lakes and rivers to take a dip. 

The fragrance of freshness of meadows wafting. 

These simple joys of life, of a country life. 

Cozy cottages and houses, no gadgets to distract, just pure nature, stress free life, wholesome food, real values. 

I am sorted, country girl by heart. 

My heart sings with joy whenever I am amidst nature, away from the city life. 

It allures me, keeps calling me. 

One day I will certainly go to the simpler way of life, to the simple joys. I really believe in living it simple. One day I will certainly be a Country Girl. 

Till then I satisfy myself with small trips to the countryside to keep me sane from the craziness of the fast paced city life.

Evolve or get extinct

Everything in this world needs to change to evolve and if it doesn't it's left far behind.

I have learned relationships too follow the same course, every relationship in our life no matter which, no matter with whom keeps evolving at different phases in life. Mother is nurturer, the caregiver then she becomes the teacher then a friend and eventually she is the one who requires care. A spouse - a friend, confidante, lover, caretaker, and many more roles in each relationship. These roles keep changing at every phase, they keep evolving and if we don't let our relationships evolve eventually they fade out, lose their importance, they start becoming valueless to each other. 

I being stubborn find this hard many times but with age and maturity things have started becoming more simple and easy to read. I think time has taught me to be more easy going and keep evolving with the flow. 

There is a long way ahead to learn and life is a teaching isn't it.

Fake it or Shake it...

I don't understand those who keep complaining and cribbing about people and then mingling with the same with such gusto and enthusiasm as if they are best of friends.

I do not say one should go name calling and be rude to people if you do not like them. 

In every person there are qualities that you don't like, which you need to live with and compromise if you like the person.

But to completely dislike a person and fake a relationship(shrugs).... 

Guess, I am someone, who calls a spade a spade. If I dislike someone really bad and can't get along with that person, I will just maintain my distance and be cordial. I can neither have fake friends nor fake relationships, I can't be two faced at any cost. 

I feel life is too special and important and short to live in such negativity. I like to surround myself with people I like and who like me.

My Summer shopping Cart and Best Deals

Summer is here. It's time to update the closet with summery prints colours and fabrics and enjoy the season in true style.

A peep in my first shopping trip for this Summer.

Two things I can't separate is summer and floral. I am all about floral love. It makes me feel so cheerful. 

I guess both the tees have their charm. The first one goes perfect with ripped denims, beige trousers and shorts. I can see myself in some funky flip flops, shorts and a tote. 

This second one will look oh so gorgeous with midi skirts or full length ones. A dainty sling or with shorts, boho back pack and sneakers. 

This one will be perfect for official work. 

Summer vests (ganjis) are another one of my favorite. They are so cool, comfy and have a laid back vibe. Plus point being they also come with funky prints, I love this first one . 

Quite catty I must say :p 

I am a bit Boho and free spirited. 

I love showing this side off often. This boho collection in my cart is quite vibrant and colourful. I am definitely going to mix and match them with shorts, palazzos, skirts, leggings, dhoti pants ... 

Summer for me is all about fun, floral, quirky prints, vibrant colours and romantic dresses. 

This one is perfect for an afternoon lunch or tea party.

Maxis are another must have. 

I am a nature lover and I turn towards natural prints almost every single time. 

This is the only maxi I truly liked. I guess we can always cover it in another shopping trip. 

Comfortable and free flowing silhouettes are a blessing.

No matter what season, plaid is a classic and a must have. Pumping the style with some sunny summery Canary yellow 😊

I chose some funky accessories to brighten my outfits. 

I so want to shop more however I just realised its lots that I am indulging in at one go... Huh ..
