Texas Tower - Kharadi, Pune

The first thing that comes to your mind or really blows your mind when you think about this place is its location.
Located on the 9th floor of the Stellar Spaces in Kharadi, Pune. Its a beautiful and really huge restaurant and being on such a height the views you get are awesome from all the sides. Watching the lights below and cars pass while sipping on your drink after a long days work is really relaxing.
A perfect place to unwind with friends, family or collegues ; they have it all.
The ambience is warm with big plush cozy couches and pretty chairs. The seating is completely comfortable and relaxing.
The bar though steals the show. I loved it and am guilty of one too many snaps over there.
This place sure is pretty.

Getting to food.
This place sure serves a storm and how.

American Corn Cheese Balls
Little bland to my taste but i loved that cheese sauce would have gone so well with nachos.

Fried Mozzarella

Fried cheese... oh yessss...

Wok Tossed Paneer
I loved it from the word go. The flavours just kicked in and hit the jackpot. The paneer was so soft and the flavours were bang on.
Must have!

Paneer Kerara Kebab
Paneer stuffing inside the crispyness.
They sure were karare as hell.

Cheese Fries
These guys are lovers of fries and how. They serve fries with so many of their dishes and this was cherry on the top.
Bring them on we ain't complaining, the more the merrier.
Beer and fries .....
Must try !
Their fries are really good.

The array of drinks and each one was yum.
Mine had to be the pink one.
Long island beach tea - yum.

Drums of Heaven

Classic Fish N Chips
As the word said .. it was classic.. Basa nicely fried to perfection with crispy fries and that yum tartar sauce.
Must try!
Loved it .
The fries literally had to be pushed off as i was busy polishing them off. CALORIES ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Hot and Crispy Joe's Shrimps
Fried Prawns with fries.
I would give this a miss. It was bland and the prawns were fried too much msking them oily and chewy. May be it was one off times.

Nachos
My favorite.
The portion was huge and I was looking forward to them with all veggies and all.
I honestly love my nachos with cheese sauce and beans or salsa; both of which were missing making them a bit dry for my taste.

Texas Hot wings
Lovely starter to enjoy your drinks.
Wings lover wont be disappointed.

Paneer Shashlik Sizzler
I couldnt try it but my vegetarian friends were definitely enjoying it.

Farm Fresh Pizza

Loaded with veggies, having this pizza will be a less of an guilty affair ๐Ÿ˜‰

Raan
This shredded Lamb Raan was so tasty and yummy. Full of flavours. Everyone loved it.
Must try!

Chicken Steak
I love my steaks and these guys sure did deliver. Another table favorite and rightly so. The chicken was tender and grilฤบed to perfection. The sauce was generous and tasty like crazy. The potatoes ever so soft and creamy and buttery veggies.
I wish i had more place in my stomach.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Must Must Try!

Sizzling Brownie
This one is my all time favourite.
I just am crazy for this.
I would give it a 6/10 over here.
The brownie was a bit hard and not heated enough. The nuts should have been more and same with the chocolate sauce. Heat was less.
I finished it . I love this dessert like crazy..
Call me anywhere just to have this and I will come.

Fambe Gulab Jamun
Gulab Jamun flambed with alcohol.
In case you want to get a little more tipsy after that last round of drinks.

And with that we called it a night.
We had a lovely time with our tummies bursting and chatter never ending.

Thanks a lot for inviting me Hatim and hosting me with such good food Team Texas Tower.

You should give these guys a try. Definitely a place to look out for when in Kharadi.

Evolve or get extinct

Everything in this world needs to change to evolve and if it doesn't it's left far behind.
I have learned relationships too follow the same course, every relationship in our life no matter which, no matter with whom keeps evolving at different phases in life. Mother is nurturer, the caregiver then she becomes the teacher then a friend and eventually she is the one who requires care. A spouse - a friend, confidante, lover, caretaker, and many more roles in each relationship. These roles keep changing at every phase, they keep evolving and if we don't let our relationships evolve eventually they fade out, lose their importance, they start becoming valueless to each other.
I being stubborn find this hard many times but with age and maturity things have started becoming more simple and easy to read. I think time has taught me to be more easy going and keep evolving with the flow.
There is a long way ahead to learn and life is a teaching isn't it.

On that note

The Little Door, Pune

City lovers are sure getting and enjoying their share of casual joints over drinks and finger foods rather than fine dinning. Food and socialising scenes are fast changing in the city.
Let's have a look at one of these game changers which is a new entrant to the city's food scenes.

The Little Door, Pune - The renowned brand from Mumbai and popular watering hole needs no introduction.

On the busy street of Kalyani Nagar, a small stone in white catches your attention, alongside a Little Blue Door. The stone reads The Little Door.

The name itself fascinates one about this place-a little blue door literally leads you in waiting for you to unfold a mystery and stands their patiently inviting you in.

No sooner than I saw the door I started thinking about what lay ahead . I was excited to find out and my excitement was really awarded as the magic of this place truly engulfs you in.
Its a simple place yet oozing with life,  it just swept me to a place which could be an amalgamation of a Greek mixed Goan theme . The result - a beautiful tranquil white , it just calms and soothes, excites and invites you at the same time and all this on a busy street in the city.
The place is done up on three levels- the outdoor seating which is bustling with activity, the indoors which has loud music, the first floor which is a bit private and last but certainly not the least, the terrace, which is warm, cozy and yet not far enough from the action - beautiful setting.

After the initial impression and taking the magic in, anticipation was running high to see how it really scores on what it promises - delectable finger food and appetisers with creatively mastered drinks.
The food definitely keeps the impression and doesn't disappoint at all. The entire fare is really good. The presentation is appealing yet simple. The portion served are good. One would find most of their finger food to be had while sipping on your favorite drink.
Overall everything we tasted met our expectations to the core however I would definitely recommend some of my favorite dishes to you guys  strongly.
cocktails they serve are really out of the box and innovative, they will certainly blow off your mind.

Must try - Podka - kokum mixed with vodka definitely gives a zing.

Happy coco which was served in a coconut and was really refreshing ;)

Hercules - as the name suggests strong and fierce .

The classic mocktails are perfection blended in tall glasses.
I loved their vodka shots which were doing the rounds for all tables ,, follow me on Instagram to see it ..
Coming to the starters -

the small burgers and sliders are so cute and tasty ,

must have - Greek Nachos - sumptuous and yum to the core .Filled with cheese, the perfect herbs, and toppings .. Must have on every table.
Mini shawarmas go with everything so well.
Souvlaki swords are another must haves - chicken bbq in Greek mix .
For the shrimp lovers - fire starter - shrimp flambeed in alcohol ..
All the starters were served with really good dips which went amazingly well with the dish and took the taste factor a notch higher.
The main course - champagne risotto must have and after that vodka penne -- you could also go with gambas a la Parilla - prawns in Orange sauce served with buttered herb rice -- the flavor was so soothing ,, creamy and went so well together..

The masterpiece was left for the last - the grand entry, the cherry on the entire experience - rum drum - 8 layered chocolate cake which is a pure indulgence - creation of chef Mayur - sheer Brilliance.

First bite and you will be in heaven , tantalizing every taste bud
The service , the presentation and everything was up to the mark .
Thanks to the owners Mayur and Ashutosh for having us. They play the perfect host ... Indeed I am hooked to this little door from Bombay who has opened its doors to Pune .. Perfect watering hole for the evenings --

P.s I found this restaurant VFM. we visited on A Monday Night - almost all tables were full and the place was buzzing with activity.

Till we meet again ..
