Diwali - one of the most loved Indian festival which is celebrated with aplomb is around the corner. Diwali means celebration of light, good, life, colours and joy.
Celebrating this festival with our near and dear ones we open our home doors to all the love, get-togethers, festivities and more. So this comes as no surprise that we want our home to reflect the beauty of Diwali and glow in its colours and be warm and beautiful.

Flowers
Flowers and Diwali go hand in hand especially Marigold- Adorn your home with flowers, giving it a fresh and fragrant feel.
Make the entrance welcoming with lights flowers and colours.
Arrange flowers everywhere in different vessels, urns and make it pretty.
Rangoli
Adorn your home with Rangoli be it from fresh flowers, chalk, paint, colours or the readymade kundan ones. Use your imagination and create a master piece ;p
Copper utensils
Bring out the old brass and copper vessels, the silver and even the olden steel ones, they add warmth and character to the house.
Play with terracotta.
A little bit of terracotta around the house adds simplicity and an earthy feel.
Tell a different story through every corner.
Diyas
The festival of lights is incomplete without diyas.
Let every corner of your home glow with diyas, fairy lights and candles and add an effervescent glow to your home.
Group together different pieces to complete the bigger picture.
Throw in lot of bright colours in the form of furnishings, cushions etc ...
These were just a few tips, be creative and transform your home into Diwali grandeur.
