Playing hide and seek with Monsoons

It's already the end of June and the rain is still playing hide and seek. Everyone is waiting for the full fledged monsoon to arrive. I am a complete pluviophile.
So the slightest drops of Rain makes my heart sing songs of joy. I love petrichor and go crazy with the scent.
So no sooner than the first raindrops kiss my face I am engulfed in this true blissful magic of the universe.

An impromptu plan to go on a drive and follow the rain, wherever it takes us.

The lush bright green fields taking us to the rain land of Mulshi a nearby place from Pune.

My cutie pie equally loves monsoon and is always a sport for such impromptu plans. After all life is all about living in the moment and dancing in the rain ❤️😍😊💃

The landscapes that opened up to welcome us. The lake waiting to be filled up. Us - just witnessing this beautiful story take form.

When in the wild - have some wild berries and play who can spit out the seeds further 🙈🤓😜

Getting drenched and loving it.

I just live to travel, to experience life, the whole world is mine to see and I belong to the wanderlust species - that's what nature does to me, brings out the poet in me.

More we, more us every single day, sharing, cherishing and making more memories as we together grey ❤️

The rain just makes everything beautiful, don't you agree. So just go, go now, for that beautiful drive, get lost in nature and cherish what you have.

These pretty pictures and I can't even explain the scenery or what we felt - serene, calm, content, alive.

When it's raining you gobble up your favourite comfort food. Rain and bhajias - life can't get better and yummier. I completely love bhajias (fritters) potato for me and onion for hubby and we had cups and cups of sweet ginger tea.
It was a perfect evening, perfect date , a perfect weekend.
More to our treasure trove of memories.

What are you upto in the rains?
Let me know in the comments.

Until we meet again.
Stay happy and cheerful.

Lots of Love ❤️❤️

Date your Spouse.

Today more and more relationships are breaking or are unhappy. Many people are losing their trust in love.
However Happy relationships are no myth.
They just require effort. The same effort which we put while wooing each other, respecting and paying more attention and giving more importance to each other when dating. Trusting each other and taking that extra effort to look pretty and feel awesome.
However once committed we think its gonna be a happily ever after smooth ride and the work is done.
Guess what - Relationships require a lot of work and effort once committed as the initial mystery, charm and spontaneity is now taken over by knowing each other too well, being at ease and taking one another for granted. The work has just began and now you are into the real deal where responsibilities, family, society, work and everything else will drain you out.
To keep the spark alive we need to keep dating each other, wooing each other and making one another feel special. Just as the initial phase never let the spontaneity die.
Don't let your relationship and yourself get monotonous and predictable.
Hubby and me guard our date nights with all our vigour and try and keep learning new things, discovering new places together, exploring and keeping it fun.
I love to make my hubby feel special and vice versa and this is just not meant for special occasion. We keep dating each other and have our quality time no matter what.
Sure life and work do take a toll at times but its all about reinventing yourself and living in the spur of the moment as we do not wait for moments to be created, we create them.
Its not hard at all if you really want it to work. Just put your heart and a little bit of effort and you will see magic rebuilt in your relationship.
Chose what's best for you, make your own rules, dance to your tunes together.

This is On one of our date nights.

cheers to happy dates and happy relationships.

we just love spending time together no matter what.
Its always fun when we together, never a dull moment with this one.

Weekend Date

As you all know by now, I am a sucker for nature. Take me into the wilderness and I am happy as a puppy (hehe ;)).
Anyhow, so hubby dear took me on a perfect date- a small hike at a nearby hill, watching the sunset and then a yummy dinner amidst beautiful setting.

Oh! I almost forgot we started off the Saturday with some shopping (yay) and some heavy duty true blue Maharashtrian Food.

Unedited yumminess, I am drooling right now. Kolhapuri and rustic maharashtrian food is my weakness. These kolhapuri Thalis are my all time favorite.
We decided to try this place for the first time having heard rave reviews from food communities.
New Milan Khanaval is located in the bylanes of Sadashiv peth Pune. This is the king of kolhapuri cuisine, best tambda rassa ( red curry) I have ever had. The after taste tickled me for more and more. The chicken masala and chicken fry preparations were amazing I loved the chicken masala more. The pandhra rassa (white curry) was nice but I have had better. There was also alni rassa (chicken broth) which is very rare to be found in Thalis, it was nice. It was such a heavy meal bursting with flavour that by the end I had stuffed my stomach to the point of no return. I barely could walk and was supremely high on food. The place served excellent biryani as well but that's for another day, another story and another date with food. This place is really small. You might have to share table with strangers. Worth it all. Go early when they open or late so you don't have to wait forever. I am in heaven with all this food.

Happy me !!

Could you believe we could have this monster after this? Yes we had it though. What can I say we are foodies who become eating demons come weekend.
Awesome coffee shop at Conrad Hilton Pune .

Sunsets ❤️

He makes me so happy ❤️

Amidst beautiful setting at The Asian Box
I love such quaint places. It's a little place with character. Lovely food and pretty ambience.
It's an oriental place and we decided we were in a mood for some Thai as well as Burmese cuisine.

I love this dish. Spicy Thai chicken. Crispy chicken coated with perfectly got Thai spices along with some capsicum. I can keep munching on this baby.

Lettuce chicken wraps.
Yummy and so filling. Must try.

Burmese Khowsuey - I never really am a fan of Khowsuey from outside as my hubbys family hails from Burma and I am used to eating home made authentic Khowsuey, recipe of which has been passed down in generations.
I just like to eat Khowsuey outside just to see what they serve and experiment but it is always so different from the authentic one made at my place.
So don't judge on my review. The Khowsuey was good however I have had better outside at other places. Saying that I still loved their curry which was more inclined towards Thai curry and couldn't help slurping on it.

We clean up good, don't we ? :))

Sweet endings ❤️❤️
I am so grateful 🙏

How was your weekend?

Until we meet again.
Keep smiling and stay cheerful!!
