Adrenaline Unlimited @ Della Adventure

Again I am back in my lazy mood, thanks to which I have this huge backlog of pending posts. I apologize to all you guys for my laziness (sheepish grin ). Well you see its the holiday time of the year. For most of the people in India The holiday season starts at the beginning of Diwali and goes on till the new year. Well its more or less in breaks ;p
So I thought why not start by sharing my first short trip of this holiday season.
By now all you guys know, how I love the outdoors and adventure, the countryside and not to forget the adrenaline. So my first trip was a mix of everything.
Our weekend at Della adventure with friends was all that was required to kick start our holiday.
Della Adventure is India's largest adventure park. Situated in the cool hill station of Lonavla amidst mountains and valleys. Its an instant rejuvenation. Having extreme sports, cozy resort, relaxing spa, beautiful surroundings, walks with loving dogs, milking jersey cows, or just curling up with a book, its an one stop destination. For my complete review of Della click here. It satiated my craving to do something over the edge and different than my everyday routine as well as rejuvenated me all together. What a start this was.... And this is what I wore ..

A little bit of sheer elegance..

As you all know by now, my personal style is more or less casual, comfortable and relaxed, I cannot and do not like to be all delicate and girly. Just a little hint of flirty fun or sheer elegance is what my style consists of.

One of those evenings, where I surprised hubby dear and took him for dinner and drinks. Oh the happiness on his face. Don't get me wrong, its not for what you think. He is more happy that he doesn't have to decide a venue than the surprise itself. Boys!!!!

I took him to Irish House, my favorite Pub in Phoenix Market city , I love the music, the atmosphere, my Margaritas, Loaded nachos- Bliss. It has an Outdoor seating, which is really nice and perfect for drinks and snacks.

All in all an evening well spent.

A cup of Coffee ...

A multi talented cup of coffee. A cup of Coffee is magical, isn't it? No wonder there are so many coffee cafes sprouting up on each and every nook and corner.
Well don't you know it is a universally accepted fact that anything can happen over a cup of coffee.
It brews magic, romance, mystery, the long wait, meetings, marriages, planning, lectures, newspapers, rainy evenings, cold mornings, late nights, conversations, puzzles, board games, assignments, vacations.(you name it you got it)
Be it in movies or real life a cup of Coffee is nothing short of a miracle maker.
By now it is no hidden fact that we go on loads of coffee dates because hubby dear is a true coffee lover. Eventually I have too turned into one (no other option, have I? ). There is such a variety of options to spoil the coffee lovers, well hubby dear likes his strong cappuccino but I like mine fancy ;p. ( a little bit of sparkle never hurts anybody, does it?)
We love our coffee dates, sitting in different cafes throughout the town. Sipping on hot coffee (for me its mostly cold coffee) watching the world pass. Our never ending conversations (me ranting all the time), catching up on each other, revisiting old memories, making small stories on the passerby's. Planning, joking, just being. It rekindles our dating period dates. Reminiscing about memories and creating lots more.
Seasons go by, years, time flew, the baristas, the cafés, age, places every thing changed except for our cup of Coffee and its serenading magic.
Our never ending cups of Coffee through years ....
A small glimpse..

To many more cups of coffee yet to come ...

100 and counting

I cant believe this is my 100th post.(YAY)
What started as a mere one odd things to try on, has turned into my passion. I have found my long lost love- writing. I realized I left it behind somewhere in my schooling years but never again.
I started blogging because I wanted to try it on.
Eventually I have got so addicted to this, that I cannot just leave it. There are days when I go in hibernation mode and just want to laze around. But when I am back, I just feel like going on. Blogging to me is a mean of self expression. I have so much going on in my head that I really cant decide what to write many a times.
My brain as I have mentioned earlier too is so not concentrated, that it keeps on jumping from one topic to another. I am so hyper myself and I cannot stick to one thing for a long time. I have an opinion for everything.  Blogging helps me in organizing my thoughts. It has given me new wings which I never knew I had. It has changed and also given me a new perspective on lot many things.
Blogging gives me the opportunity and the access to share my love for myriad things, my love for life and my passion of living life. I love to share my views, my world with you all, it gives me an inner satisfaction and a strange motivation to go on. This blog is my Diary, my journal for my musings, poetry, small nothings, my creations, dream destinations.
A small window to the treasure troves of my life.

Here's the outfit post - - something I wore for an early dinner late evening with my friend.

Small somethings..

Tired after coming back from work,
feeling like a dork.

Perhaps a small drive,
will prove to be as sweet as the honey in the hive.

The fragrance of fresh air,
the wind blowing in my hair,

the scent of earth,
Oh the happiness of hearth,

-Bhakti ;p ;p(hehehe)

But actually, a drive works wonder for the tired soul, rejuvenating all the senses and getting a big bright smile.(not a drive on the overtly congested road with traffic jams)

After one such long tiring day, we refreshed ourselves with a short drive and some favorite ice cream. Oh the pleasures. Simple joy. Beautiful Life!! The little secrets to a blessed life.

This is what I wore quickly to get in my comfortable happy drive mode.

Himalayan Romance

All trips are special and filled with memories but the term Road trip stirs in a lot of feelings and chords. Its not only about the destination but beauty of the journey, the grandeur of travel unlike other trips( plane, rail, cruise etc.).
Its about the luxury of the place and nature. Exploring the roads, towns, nature, quaint places; World at large in the true sense. A feeling that none other can truly match. The excitement of embarking on new adventures. The true sense of achievement. Not a tailor made vacation but one with spontaneity, discoveries and surprises. No wonder every single time I am equally thrilled as ever for a road trip.

After a many a road trip along with family and a chest full of memories to last forever, this time I want to go on a perfect romantic road trip with hubby dear.
According to me road trip helps in strengthening relationships and bonds, discovering each other in a completely different way. Building vivid and ever lasting memories.
Hence this time I want to make it extra special, just the two of us and this magical journey.

Adding another exciting romantic adventure to our life. There can be no other better way of culminating 2 years of being married happily and celebrating our togetherness.

Destination - Himalayas is a classic backdrop for Bollywood romance and all the die hard romantics.

Route - Pune-- Indore -- Ajmer -- Shimla -- Kulu -- Manali -- Mandi -- Palampur -- Mc Leod Ganj -- Kangra -- Ambala -- Ajmer -- Indore -- Pune

Around 4500 kms and 66 hours

Car-- Though I would love to have an RV, I am also lusting for the Ford Eco sport; luxury of an SUV and warmth of a Hatchback.
