Romantiscizing in Blue

As my Instagram family must be knowing and would have seen my insta story and posts it was our wedding anniversary.
I am super Romantic and small loving gestures and little nothings sweep me off my feet.
A perfect fairy tale in everyday life is what keeps me going.
So in the same pursue we set off on our anniversary to chase my fairy tale dreams as  always.
With my prince charming by my side we embarked on our journey through mountains and valleys, through forests and trails.
We both are spontaneous people and love to go with the flow without any guidelines or time and this again like last year Wine trip was an unplanned spur of the moment decision. Which we really enjoyed.
So our Journey took us through winding roads

Straight to the magical Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar. This is such a gorgeous property. Its like an Old Victorian villa in the woods. Set in the forests you can just be mesmerised by mountains peaking from all sides and cool winds enveloping you being filtered by the tall trees carrying the fragrance of forest mist.
I could just sit here all day not doing anything but taking in the views.

For me romance means twirling in gowns, flowy drapes and rich hues.
I love maxi dresses and I think nothing is more romantic than twirling in them.
The colour royal blue is one of my favourites somehow I romanticize it - think Santorini ,,,, That's what blue dreams are made up of.

so here am I twirling and musing in blue...

Discovery of Taste with Le Meridien and Food Adda

Le Meridien Pune in association with Food Adda  group organized a special Italian food gathering by invites only for food enthusiasts in the city. An interactive cooking session with Master Chef Roberto Boggio followed by a delectable three course Italian lunch with the Chef himself. No wonder the event was so rightly christened - Discovery of Taste with Master Chef Roberto Boggio. The event was conducted at Favola - the fine dine Italian restaurant. It comes as no surprise that Favola has been voted as The best Italian restaurant in Pune for consecutively 3 years by The Times food and Nightlife Award. All this Thanks to their star chef -  Master Chef Roberto Boggio. He hails from North Italy. Having worked in about 5 continents and around 40 countries, he has a power house performance, vast experience, immense knowledge and a career which can impress anyone. He is a true Italian, his secret ingredient being ' Love' which makes for a perfect recipe, no wonder whoever dines at Favola gets a piece of Italy on their plate.

The combination of the Parisian born Le Meridien, which itself is a landmark hotel in Pune, the king of Italian cuisine - Master Chef Roberto Boggio and last but not the least, Food Adda - the lovers, connoisseurs and experts of food created a magical afternoon which transported one and all to the land of Italy.

The dishes to be taught by the Chef himself were Risotto, Ossobuco (Lamb Shank with Gremolada ) and a dessert Budino al cioccolato (Sinful chocolate Lava cake ) and these delectable dishes made for the lunch as well, making it a perfect Italian Lunch.

Come share the Magic with us --

The hungry tables.

Bread basket hot from the oven.

1st course -Risotto

2nd course -  Ossobuco (Lamb Shank with Gremolada )

3rd course Budino al cioccolato (Sinful chocolate Lava cake )

Each dish was totally and sinfully Italian to the core.
100 percent authentic.
The Risotto was al dente(a little raw) in true Italian style. It was not over the top cheesy
like most of the risottos are and you could feel the outburst of Italian flavor in each bite.
The spinach added to the flavor and you could feel a slight lemony zest. This one is must for those who love their Risotto in true Italian style.

The Lamb shanks were juicy and the meat was well done. I liked them more than my risotto being a
true meat lover.

However the star of the entire lunch had to be the lava cake. It was heavenly. It was a treat for the taste buds. I was so craving for more and more. A little crispy from outside and heavenly explosion of chocolate on inside. You need to just have it. The chocolate lava cake stole the show hands down. The best thing I have ever had.
